UAE Police Arrest Three Men with Fake Cosmetics Worth Dh23 Million

Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – Three men have been arrested in Ras Al Khaimah after police uncovered two warehouses filled with counterfeit cosmetics and accessories, authorities announced on Wednesday. The raid led to the seizure of over 650,000 fake ‘branded’ items, including lipsticks and shampoo, with an estimated market value of Dh23 million.

The operation was initiated after the police received a tip-off from the Economic Development Department. The three suspects, all of Arab origin, have been handed over to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.

Brigadier Ahmed Said Mansoor, Acting Director General of Police Operations, commended the efforts of the joint teams involved in the operation. He emphasized that Ras Al Khaimah Police remain committed to safeguarding the nation’s security and the well-being of its citizens and residents.

Brigadier Mansoor also warned that the authorities would take strong action against anyone attempting to compromise the country’s security, destabilize its economy, or endanger the safety of those living within its borders. Kahleej Times reported.
