US Rapper Fatman Scoop Dies After Collapsing on Stage

Hamden, CT – Isaac Freeman III, known to fans around the world as rapper Fatman Scoop, has passed away at the age of 53. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Freeman collapsed on stage during a performance this past Friday at Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut.

The rapper’s family announced his death on Saturday morning. They did not disclose the cause of death but described Freeman as “a radiant soul, a beacon of light on the stage and in life.” The family highlighted his dual role as a celebrated performer and a cherished family member, referring to him as “a father, brother, uncle, and friend.”

In their statement, they remembered Freeman as “the laughter in our lives, a constant source of support, unwavering strength and courage.” They praised his impact as “the undisputed voice of the club,” acknowledging how his music inspired dance and embraced life with positivity.
